Not much to add because we're back waiting again - the clock's ticking until my op.

But I wanted to thank some wonderful women for their support - from books and dvds to afternoon tea amd MORE chocolate. I also want to thank Sarah and the Hens for such a fab night on saturday night and making me feel so welcome. It was such a good feeling to let my hair down and get dressed up and have a laugh. And laugh we did.

I've included a couple of pictures from that night, including a great one that Sarah took of me with short(er) hair. And yes I am wearing a paper hat from a cracker - Christmas is coming!+

Greetings from your friends in America who are going through the same cancer journey. As some of you who know Zoe may be aware, her childhood friend Ann was diagnosed with breast cancer about the same time that Zoe got her cancer. It must have been something you both were exposed to during that year in Brazil!

Just writing to offer our own hopes and prayers for this week and to let you know you CAN get through whatever cancer throws at you. Your prior post about trying out future partners by a visit to the hospital is very true, and speaking from someone who sits in the same position at Matt, it's not easy. Cancer is scary and unfair, but it's also survivable and does serve to focus one's life on what's important. You and Matt seem to be doing a terrific job together, which is a wonderful portent for many more years of happiness.

We'll be thinking of you on Friday and sending all our good vibes across the ocean. With love, Jon

Dear Zoe,
Sending you love and hugs from Australia from Shane & I. Mum sends her love too. Prayers and thoughts are with you for the 18th. Just wanted to also mention that Shane's mum was diagnosed with leukaemia (and diabetes at the same time) 3 years ago and most of her treatment was done through clinical trials. She is now in remission. My boss also survived breast cancer last year. I just wanted to throw that in because it's a happy ending and I wanted to send some positive vibes. Matt seems like a wonderful, wonderful support to you and I'm very happy for you that you have found him. Love and best wishes always, Natalie...xxxx

Friday November 18

Zoe -

The girls and I are thinking of you and Matt today, all day. Actually with the time difference we decided to start concentrating on you late last night (Texas time) ... Matt post as soon as you can when Zoe is out of the hospital and back home.
